The World Engineering Day Myanmar Celebration jointly organized by the Myanmar Engineering Council and the Federation of Myanmar Engineering Societies to commemorate the World Engineering Day on 4 March 2022 was held online at 10 am dated on 2 March as per the COVID-19 rules.

Union Minister for Construction U Shwe Lay, Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than, Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw,  the President of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, Prof. Dr. Gong Ke,  the Past President of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, Dr. Marlene Kaga, gave opening remarks.

Next, the second session of the World Engineering Day Myanmar Celebration Plenary Session with the theme of Build Back Wiser - Engineering the Future was held and chaired by the FEIAP Past President Dr. Chuan Hean Teak and led by local and foreign engineers to achieve the sustainable, balanced and better development of future engineering sector.
